If you were in crisis – where would you turn?

Many of us have friends and family to turn to when the going gets tough. But what if your family could no longer help and you had nowhere else to go? What if the kids were hungry, the cupboards bare and you really did not know where the next meal would come from?

That’s where Weston-super-Mare Foodbank can help. By giving people food and support when they need it most we can help to avert greater disaster and greater poverty.

The Weston-super-Mare Foodbank will work with local frontline professionals who will be able to issue food vouchers to those in need which can be exchanged for emergency food boxes. Each box contains three day’s supply of nutritionally balanced tinned and dried food and is intended as a short term measure to provide breathing space until additional help is offered by professional agencies.

We are open:

Monday 11.00am – 2.30pm

Tuesday 1.00 – 3.00pm at Locking Castle Church

Wednesday 11.00am – 2.30pm

Friday 11.00pm – 2.30am

Main Distribution Point is on North Street – BS23 1RU 

If you are driving  – North Street is a one way street – go all the way to the end and we are on the left hand side at the end of a car park. If you are walking, there is an alley way leaving the High Street between Poundland and Santander – turn left at the end and walk to the end of the street – turn left into the car park.

In addition we have a satalite foodbank for a couple of hours on a Tuesday in Locking Castle, the address is:
